Pinball Wizard, Unity Game

The concept stemmed from an assignment in my Advanced Game Design class, where we began with Unity's "Roll-a-ball" tutorial and expanded upon it to create our own game. Drawing from this foundation, I crafted a Unity-based video game called Pinball Wizard. Throughout the process, I extensively utilized Unity and Visual Studio for coding in C#. Admittedly, the most fun I had during the design was coming up with the concept for the game's theming and art direction. This project served as an invaluable learning experience, as I not only gained proficiency in C# programming but also became familiar with Unity's interface and its capabilities for game creation. While there were challenges along the way, such as coding objects to perform specific actions upon trigger and mastering the art of debugging, the satisfaction of overcoming these hurdles and seeing the game come to life was immensely rewarding. Ultimately, I succeeded in creating a functioning game, proving to myself that I could bring my ideas to fruition in the world of game development.
